Life Coaching

A life that feels true

Alongside my work as a PGA Professional, I run Gary Shaw Life: a separate private coaching practice for thoughtful, open-minded people who want to live with greater clarity, freedom and truth.

Life may look perfectly functional from the outside while something underneath no longer feels right. You may be facing a difficult decision, repeating a pattern you understand but cannot seem to change, or recognising that your work, relationships or direction no longer feel fully your own.

My lived experience as a gay man shapes this work, particularly my understanding of authenticity, identity and belonging. The subject of your coaching does not need to involve sexuality. I welcome people of every sexuality and gender who connect with this approach, and none of who you are needs to be explained, softened or edited.

I completed Kingstown College’s Advanced Diploma in Mental Health & Wellbeing Coaching with Distinction. Through attentive listening, direct questioning and practical action, I help you slow things down, see clearly, face what is true and decide what comes next.

Three-month private coaching

Private coaching begins as a focused three-month relationship. This gives us enough time to move beyond immediate insight, recognise deeper patterns and turn what emerges into sustained change.

  • Six private 60-minute coaching sessions
  • Usually held fortnightly over three months
  • Available online or in person in London
  • A clear focus for the coaching relationship, agreed together at the outset

Fee: £1,200

Payable in full or in three monthly payments of £400.

We begin with a private 25-minute consultation to understand what has brought you here, what you would like to change and whether working together feels right. There is no charge and no obligation to proceed.
